Dream Innovation Srl is an Italian SME specializing in advanced engineering, research, and innovation consulting for high‑tech industrial sectors, with a strong focus on aerospace and defence. Founded in 2013, the company brings together senior professionals with long-standing experience in complex engineering environments and a new generation of engineers skilled in fluid dynamics, structural analysis, and mechanical design. Dream Innovation operates at the intersection of technology development and strategic advisory, supporting organizations in shaping R&D initiatives, developing new concepts, and accelerating innovation processes.

The company provides high‑value services ranging from advanced simulations and engineering studies to project management, technology scouting, and support in the preparation of competitive research proposals. Over the years, Dream Innovation has collaborated with major European aerospace players, universities, and research centers, contributing to successful projects and business growth strategies. The company has supported numerous winning proposals under European, national, and regional funding programs, including Horizon Europe, Clean Sky 2, Clean Aviation, and other innovation frameworks. Driven by a strong commitment to research and technological progress, Dream Innovation helps transform ideas into concrete, scalable solutions and strengthens the competitiveness of organizations operating in demanding, technology‑intensive sectors.

Role in the CRYOSTAR Project

Dream Innovation plays a cross‑cutting role in CRYOSTAR, supporting the coordinator in project management activities (WP1) and contributing to several technical work packages. The company is also Work Package Leader for WP6, coordinating the full‑scale crash test campaign and ensuring the integration of numerical, experimental, and certification‑driven evidence.

Dream provides modelling and simulation capabilities to complement the crash design activities, with a focus on fast‑running and low‑fidelity methods for sloshing, venting, thermal loads, and simplified crash response. The company contributes to the development of the digital thread, enabling scalable, data‑driven models that support virtual certification workflows.

In parallel, Dream Innovation contributes to the assessment and early modelling of the Autotomic Aircraft concept, providing analytical support to evaluate feasibility, load paths, and certification implications. Through these activities, Dream strengthens the project’s ability to explore alternative crash‑mitigation strategies and accelerate the development of certifiable hydrogen tank integration solutions.
